Voici un outil publique du gouvernement américain pour visualiser les protéines en 3D.

Un peu de la même manière que le projet de recherche d'intelligence extra-terrestre SETI@home, Folding@home est un système distribué qui emprunte la puissance de votre ordinateur, lorsque vous ne l'utilisez pas, pour calculer des repliements proteiques. Ces opérations complexes demandent beaucoup de temps de calcul, alors vous pouvez mettre à contribution votre processeur en téléchargeant une petite application sur le site du projet Folding@home.

Here's a publicly available tool from the U.S. government that will allow you to visualize 3D structures of proteins.

Somewhat like the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence project SETI@home, Folding@home is a distributed computing system that borrows your computer, when you are not using it, to calculate protein folding. These complex operations require a lot of computing time and power so you can contribute your processor to the project by installing a little program that you can download from the Folding@home web site.
